Cpt Filannino Retires

2021 Cpt Filannino and Records Staff

Captain Salvatore Filannino retired on June 30, 2020, after serving for 37 years in law enforcement. He began his career in 1983 with Middlesex County Corrections, and 1986 with the Middlesex Sheriff’s Department. He joined the Edison Police Force in 1987. After being promoted to the rank of captain in 2017, he assumed command of the Records Bureau where he was assigned until retiring. He is seen in the picture on the left with several of the clerical personnel who work in the Records Bureau.

On behalf of the Edison Police Department, congratulations on a long and successful career and best wishes in a well deserved retirement.

Joining Captain Filannino on June 30th were Sergeants Lombardo, Todd and Felcetto, and Officers Peer, Colletto, Crincoli, Hozney and Haras. They will be joining recently retired Lt. Mintchwarner (May) and Officer Sisolak (September). Congratulations to their dedication and service to the Township of Edison, it’s residents and visitors.
