Today, the Edison Police Department, the Edison Fire Department, and USO competed in a hoagie building contest. The Edison Fire Department squeaked through and won the contest. Although we won in 2016 we are happy that the trophy remains in Edison. As a participant, the Edison Police Department received a check from WAWA in the amount of $1,000 dollars that was donated to the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders. The Edison Police Department would like to thank WAWA for supporting our military, first responders, and our community.
